I am developing fine art pieces that are both pleasing to look at as well as functional. I am taking inspiration from things that I come in contact with everyday, things that go hand in hand with the monotony of everyday living, such as the graph paper I write my to-do lists on and the spoon and cup and bowl I use everyday, as well as things as simple as the clothes I wear. I am trying to make my work simple and functional. The detail work and meticulous craft reflect the habitual nature of everyday routine.
